An Invitation to St. Barnabas
We are happy you’ve discovered our website and hope it will give you a sense of the community and activities that you will find at St.Barnabas. A website is no substitute for personal contact, so we hope you will join us for worship.
St. Barnabas has just welcomed our 14th rector, Gareth Evans. Our parish is excited to begin the Season of Advent with new leadership.
Wherever you are on your personal journey of faith — whether just beginning, ready to explore, or coming back from a long absence — we believe you will find a community willing to meet you where you are and help you find a place to experience God, encounter Jesus, and discover your spiritual gifts.
St. Barnabas is a village church, located at the top of Main Street in Irvington, that draws people from our village and 16 nearby towns. Together, we learn about Christian faith and life in the beautiful words and music that are found in Holy Scripture, the Book of Common Prayer, and our Hymnal. Families are plentiful at St. Barnabas, and Christian Education for Children, Youth, and Adults is important to our community.
